Buckley Anne Kuhn Fricker
On December 22, 2017. She was born on March 10, 1974. She grew up in McLean, VA, attending The Potomac School and Madeira. Dear Family,
It is with a heavy heart to know of the tragic loss of Buckley and Scott. We ask - Why do bad things happen to exceptional people? The answers are few.....I had the privilege of working with Buckley and some of her clients. She and her team provided such care and kindness to all. My hope is her legacy shines as a constant reminder of her compassion to others and provide some comfort far beyond this terrible time.

I am still in shock and so very sad about these tragic deaths. I am so, so sorry to both families. I worked with Buckley and she was a wonderful professional as well as a wonderful person. She gave 100% to each of her clients. She always had nice things to say about everyone. She was a beacon of light. She will be missed.

I will miss you Buckley. You were a kindred spirit who was always there when I needed a caring ear. My family is shocked and saddened. But I will always remember you as you were. Strong, yet so empethic and so just with your advocacy for your beliefs. I wish the best for your children. Thank you for your active support with those suffering from mental illness as well as the elderly.

Dear Janet, and the Kuhn and Fricker families,

I and so many others whose lives Buckley touched are saddened by the tragic and senseless loss of Buckley and Scott. Buckley was truly one of kind, and was amazingly caring, kind and passionate about helping others. It was a privilege to have known and worked with her. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Dear Kuhn and Fricker Families: I have no words that could possibly make your hearty less heavy and your tears flow less often. I knew Buckley for almost 10 years and am terribly sad that she is no longer walking the earth and doing the work that both of us love. Buckley will be missed. My prayers and sincere wishes for your inner peace continue. Such a tragic loss of two lives who embraced life. While my heart is heavy and sad I cannot imagine how much heavier all of your hearts are. I am SO very sorry for the loss of your daughter, son, sister, and brother, mother and father, and friend. May God bless each of you and fill you with His grace and peace. Denise Valerio, friend and colleague of Buckley

Buckley was a wonderful person, who cared for many many people in creative ways. She cared not for humanity as an abstraction, but she wanted individuals to be treated with dignity and she tried to help older people enjoy their lives. My prayers and heart is with all of Buckley's family

To the Fricker family! That was truly an unspeakable act of violence against your family members, and while those around you can only imagine the pain and grief you're feeling, God is fully aware. Therefore at ISAIAH 61: 1,2 he promises to "Bind up the brokenhearted and comfort all who mourn"
