Violet Jakubowski Obituary
Violet V. Jakubowski, 86, Rothschild, died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2011, at Aspirus Hospice House, Wausau.
She was born in the town of Weston on Jan. 30, 1925, to Albert and Agnes (Wood) Kolbeck.
She is survived by daughters, Donna Wyro, Milton, Susan (James) DuBore, St. Germain, Merry ( Terry) Dassler, Rothschild, and Chris Jakubowski, Madison; son, Gerry Jakubowski, Janesville; grandchildren, Jeff Wyro and Trevor Wyro, Shawn Hummel, Renee Kirchner, Raquel Blount, Michelle Westfall and Jacqueline Lewandoski; eight great-grandchildren; and other loving family and friends.
Violet had a lifetime love of sewing, quilting and crafts, which she did for her children and grandchildren.
Violet was never afraid to make a life for herself and her family. She was a strong and loving woman, traits which she passed on to her family. One of her greatest accomplishments was successfully owning her own business "The Ranch Bar" in Rothschild.
There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011, for family and friends at St. Joseph Cemetery, Wausau. Anyone wishing to attend is asked to meet at John J. Buettgen Funeral Home, Schofield, at 10:30 a.m. for the procession to the cemetery for the service.
In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to Aspirus Hospice House, Wausau.
Mid Wisconsin Cremation Society is assisting the family.
The family would like to give special thanks to Aspirus Hospice House staff for their kind and loving care of their mother.

Thank you Mom for making me the woman I am today. You have given me courage, compassion, strength, and love. You will always be in my heart, "Just The Two Of Us". You will be my angel looking over me now. I will miss you greatly but now you are free. I Love You Mom, your daughter Chris.
