Donald Mattice Obituary
Donald Mattice, 88, passed away at his home on May 11, 2017 in Wausau, Wisconsin. Don is survived by his wife, Virgine (Hildebrandt); children Scott (Denise) Mattice, Robin (William) Mueller, Terry (Taryn) Mattice, Kelly (John Barnes) Mattice, Joel Mattice, and Tracy Mattice; sisters Grace Burch, Betty (Gilbert) Ninnemann; brothers Arden (Millie) Mattice, and Merlin Mattice; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brothers Bill and Marvin.
Don was born on August 17, 1928 in Berlin, Wisconsin to Howard and Elsbeth Mattice. He married the love of his life, Virgine, in 1955. He served in the air force and had a lengthy career with Wausau Papers in Brokaw. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time up north with his family.
Funeral for Don will be held at 12:00pm on Thursday, May 18th at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wausau with Rev. Kemp Jones officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00am. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Don's life.
