Jacqueline Storck Obituary

Jacqueline "Jackie" Lou Storck, 81, of 624 College Ave., Quincy, died at 5:57 p.m. Thursday (Jan. 13, 2011) in Blessing Hospital.

Jackie was born Feb. 27, 1929, in Quincy, a daughter of Albert and Patricia Kroeger. She was raised by her Grandma and Grandpa Kroeger. On May 13, 1948, she married Alan Storck in Ursa. They later renewed their vows at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. He survives.

Jackie was a homemaker and had worked for Motorola for several years.

She loved being outdoors hunting and fishing with her husband and son. She loved her dogs, especially Cozy. Jackie also enjoyed planting and caring for flowers in her yard.

In addition to her husband, Alan, survivors include a son, Ricky Storck of Quincy; a sister, Barb Kelch and her husband, Wayne, of Quincy; a brother-in-law, Larry Storck and his wife, Sue, of Palmyra, Mo.; and cousins, nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home with Msgr. Michael Kuse conducting. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

VISITATION: 12:30 p.m. until time of services Tuesday in the funeral home.

MEMORIALS: Blessing Foundation for Hospice or to the Quincy Humane Society.

I'm very sorry to learn of the passing of my old high school friend Jackie.
We did have some good times back in those days and Jackie knew how to have a good time. I also remember and knew Alan and I want you to know Alan that you have my condolences. Keep Jackie in your memories and she will never be far away from you.
