Wendell Malone Obituary

Wendell Lawrence "Pat" Malone, 88, of Wautwatosa, Wis., formerly of Quincy and Libertyville, died Wednesday (Jan. 12, 2011) in a care facility in Wauwatosa.

He was born Sept. 30, 1922, in Chicago.

Pat was a 35-year executive for Motors Insurance Corp., a division of General Motors. He was an Army World War II veteran. He enjoyed automobiles, golf and music.

He was the dearest husband of 53 years to the late Dorothy.

Survivors include his children, Sharon (Bill) Mays of Quincy, Mary (Dennis) Janicki, Susan (Roy) Clausen, Joan (Ralph) Seichepine, Patti (Doug) Kearsley, Dr. Michael (Cathie) Malone, and Maureen (Keith) Janosch; 21 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Raymond (Betty) Malone.

SERVICES: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the McMurrough Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville, and 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 121 East Maple Ave., Libertyville. Interment will be in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.

VISITATION: 4 to 8 p.m. Monday in the McCurrough Chapel.
