To the family of Bob Deliman: I was a newly minted diagnostic radiologist at the City of Hope when Bob was a consulting vascular surgeon. He taught me a lot. He made things so simple and clear, for example, what he needed to know from the angiogram. He was always smiling and usually had a joke to tell. He was unpretentious, always ready to be helpful. I always enjoyed working with him. He popped into my thoughts just now as I was reading a book that mentioned a doctor who was always there to help others. Please know there are probably many more out there who, like me, share with you the great experience of knowing your father.

I have fond memories of Dr. Deliman. I met him in 1962 when he came into his office on a weekend to stitch my finger and an almost severed tendon. I was 14 and he was very kind . He stitched the tendon in a special way so the Dr. that would remove it would only have to cut a knot and pull it out without opening my finger . He invited me to watch a transplant because I was interested and invited my family to his home to see his collection of movie props. We never went, I wish we would have. Dr Deliman made a huge impression on me and he lives in my memory.

My dearest father in law was a truly unique and wonderful man, who devoted his whole life to medicine and helping others. He had an awesome (and sometimes embarrassing !) sense of humor - always the right joke at the right time! I feel blessed for having been a small part of his life for the past 13 years, and he will never ever be forgotten - always dearly loved and close to my heart. Love you Dad - God Bless. *Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; Love leaves a memory no one can steal*
