First, so sorry for all of you, it is never easy to lose a parent no matter what the circumstances, how old or how ill.
My memories of your Mom are of all day grocery shopping adventures with her and Myrtle followed by lunch @ Chinese restaurant.
For a woman with 7 kids she was quite diverse, cook, knitter, avid reader. She made all the grandkids homemade sweaters when they were born, baked amazing breads, cardamon bread on Christmas morning, just delicous. We would visit on Sunday afternoon and usually a gigantic meatloaf would be baking, she knew one of us would pop in and sit and eat. Great memories from Pleasant Street.
She taught me to crochet and I ended up making afghans for presents. I could go on and on... May God grant sweet rest to your Mom.
