I remember riding the school bus way up to the end of Harvard Road where the bus driver would pick up Jenny. She was very quiet and I remember just looking at her pretty straight blonde hair, she was beautiful! I always envied at how close the Wood family was. Mrs. Wood, Nancy, Beth and Peggy, I am very saddened to hear of Jennys passing. Please take comfort in knowing that she is no longer suffering and is now in God's care. With deepest synpathy, you are all in my thoughts.

I tried to post on here last night but it has not appeared so forgive me if I am repeating myself. I remember my childhood friend Jenny as kind and mischievious. I loved to visit her wonderful and exotic family. I do remember Evelyn that you and she painted wonderful watercolors.I lost a daughter to cancer in 2000. Your grief is so new but I hope you all are coming to realize that she is close by you always and that someday you will see her again. Jenny is not sick anymore.

Jenny looks on her photo as I knew her 43 years ago: pure, simple and true, spontaneous, creative artist and poet, in love with nature, friendly with people and animals. To Jenny's family: I deeply share your sorrow, and through prayer, feel close to Jenny, in my heart ... much love, Sylvie

To Jenny's Family,
I had the priviledge of working with Jenny professionally. She assisted me many years ago with the permitting and transforming a large and environmentally sensitive area into a native landscape now full of wildlife and thriving vegetation. In the years that followed, I would call or visit her office and she was always available to help identify a plant. I am grateful to have known and worked with her. My deepest sympathy to you.

Dear Jenny, I am missing you everyday and imagine walking with you at Honeymoon, in "The Jungle" which I learned recently on a ranger-led walk is actually called a jungle! The slash pines and the understory grow more dense on the barrier island than on the mainland, making the Honeymoon Island area similar to a jungle! The eagles hatched on Christmas day and the sign helps the birders spot them! Your loving sister, Elizabeth

Dear Jenny,
I am your cousin Sue, am prayerful you are not suffering but rejoicing in heaven. We didn't really know each other well because of distance between our families but all that you are and stood for was such a blessing. Cousin Sue

Jenny was a great caretaker and watchdog of our environment. We served together on Site Plan Review Committee and had many interactions inour capacities for the Town. I can truly say I walked away with a smile even if she had to say no. Jenny is missed and may be for a long time.
