Margaret B. Wile

SEBRING, FL Margaret B. (Cauffman) Wile, 91, formerly of York, died Friday April 26, 2013 at Kenilworth Care and Rehabilitation Center in Sebring, Fla. She was the wife of the late John L. Wile. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2013, at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a viewing from 1 to 2 p.m. Certified Celebrant Betty Frey will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Wile was born in Quincy, on August 13, 1921, the daughter of the late John and Lottie (Shaffer) Cauffman. She worked part time at the West York VFW. Mrs. Wile was formerly a member of The Episcopal Church of St. John the Baptist in York. She was a member of West York VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Wile leaves a son, Jay A. Wile of Sebring, Fla; two daughters, Mary Ellen Haldeman of long Beach, CA and Peggy Ruth of York; four grandchildren, Ernest Gibson, III of Los Angeles, Josh Ruth of York, Keith Emig of York, and Doug Wile of Chambersburg; a great-grandson, Sammy Emig of York; two brothers, Bahner Cauffman of Harrisburg and Roderick Cauffman of Waynesboro; two sisters, Jeannine Brown of Rouzervile, and Sharlene Butts of Chambersburg; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Ted R. Wile two sisters, Gloria Shirey and Mary Jane Carbaugh; and two brothers, John Cauffman, Jr. and Donald Cauffman.
