Jesus Garcia Obituary

Jesus G. Garcia, 87, went to our Lord surrounded by his family on Saturday, December 12, 2009 in Tucson, Arizona. He was born May 15, 1922, to Francisca and Benjamin Garcia in Rosedale, Kansas.
Jesus was a retired agriculture Supervisor and a veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Jesus is survived by his children, Alfred (Helen) Garcia of Camarillo, California, Ricardo (Concepcion) Garcia of Maricopa, Arizona, Irasema Garcia of Yuma, Carmen Castro (Tony Valencia) of Oxnard, California, Genoveva (Miguel) Montes of Oxnard, California, Angelica (Eric) Castillo of Oxnard, California, Billy Garcia of Maricopa, Arizona, Jesse (Karen) Garcia of Oxnard, California, Johnny (Andrea) Garcia of Casa Grande, Arizona; sisters, Eleanor Cota of Lemoore, California, Celia (Augustine) Macias of Lemoore, California and Socorro (Joe) Medlock of El Centro, California; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Jesus was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Francisca Garcia; daughter, Cristina Garcia; sons, Richard and Jesus Garcia; sister, Estella Garcia; brothers, Alfredo, Edilio and Benjamin Garcia II and brother-in-law Juan Cota.
Our Dad and Tata will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
A viewing will be held at Yuma Mortuary on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Rosary will begin at 7:00 p.m. A mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Final resting place will be at Desert Lawn Memorial Park on Friday, December 18, 2009 at 10:00 a.m.
