Bonnie Jean McPeek

DRESDEN: Bonnie Jean McPeek, 93, of Dresden died at 10:35 AM Sunday, December 27, 2015 at the Morrison House Hospice.

She was born on April 1, 1922 in Zanesville, OH the daughter of John Henry and Mary Ann (Urban) Williams.

Bonnie was a member of Fair Oaks Baptist and Coburn United Methodist, and was employed most of her life with the U.S. Post Office in Zanesville. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, reading and especially spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Bill (Jeanne), Doug, Melody Hotchkiss, Kevin (Cindy), Kandi (Bob) Davis; 16 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; a sister, F. Kelly Fisher; daughter-in-law, Pat McPeek; numerous nieces, nephews and step grandchildren.

Bonnie was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband, Charles W. McPeek; a son, Robert "Rusty" McPeek; grandson, Charles III; and a great grandson, Jackson.

Friends may call one hour prior to service from 12 noon to 1:00pm on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home where funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM with Pastor Mark Douglas officiating. Burial will conclude at the Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made to Genesis Hospice & Palliative Care, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or Christ's Pantry.

The Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home, 2318 Maple Ave. Zanesville is in charge of the arrangements.
