Rebecca Bunch Obituary

Rebecca Robison Bunch passed away October 3, 2007. She was born in Paris, Texas on November 12, 1925 to Bud and Lucille Morgan. She attended Paris Junior College and North Texas State University. During World War n, she worked at Camp Maxey in Paris, Texas. In 1944, Rebecca married C.B. 'Robbie' Robison. They resided in Sioux Falls, SD and Paris, Texas before moving to Oklahoma City, Okla. in 1952. Robbie passed away in 1994 and Rebecca later married long-time family friend, William Paul Bunch of Dallas, Texas. Rebecca was a member of the Village United Methodist Church for fifty-three years. She had served the church by participating in numerous activities including singing in the choir and delivering meals on wheels. She retired from the Oklahoma City Public Schools where she worked as a secretary. Rebecca is survived by her three children, Dr. Craig B. Robison and wife Pat, Stillwater, Okla., Dr. Brad Robison of the Village, and Ms. Shelley Hembree, Shawnee, Okla.; her sister, Janice Morgan Jones Younger, Waco, Texas; a niece, Judy Jones Saffle, Paris, Texas; and a nephew, Greg Jones, Waco, Texas. She is also survived by her nieces, Loma Moss, Carbondale, Illinois, Linda Deskins, Washington Court House, Ohio, and nephew Robert Robison, Prescott, Arizona; grandchildren, Rachel Johnson, Edmond, Okla., and Blayze and Apryl Hembree, Shawnee, Okla.; and one great- grandchild, Brayden Craig Johnson, Edmond, Okla. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Sat., October 6, 2007, at Village United Methodist Church. Memorials can be made to the Village United Methodist Church at 2501 W. Britton Road, Oklahoma City, Okla. 73120.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. I prayed for you today that you will be given peace and comfort.

I did not know your mother, but I know your fine character is a reflection of the kind of woman she had to be. You have been and will continue to be a blessing to those you encounter.
