Joseph Hardy Obituary

Joseph A. Hardy
Joseph Aloysius Hardy, 47, of Lower Paxton Township, died peacefully early Tuesday morning at home.
He was a son of John A. and Angela H. Hardy.
He was a graduate of Central Dauphin High School, a self-employed owner and electrician with AETNA Electric and a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. As an avid fisherman and skier, he belonged to the National Ski Patrol and Fishing Fools Guide Service. He was a devoted father, loving husband, caring son, wonderful brother and was noted for his sense of humor.
Surviving are his wife, Terri Lynn (Geissinger) Hardy; a son, Joseph and daughter, Lindsey; a brother, Jack Hardy; 3 sisters, Suzanne Robinson, Mary Haga and Nita Liberto; in-laws, Robert and Patricia Geissinger and their children and grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, at 10 a.m., at his church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be on Saturday, from 9 a.m. until time of the service, at his church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Scholarship Fund for the Children. Make checks payable to Community Banks, 5060 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17112. Please note in memo section of check, "Hardy Children Fund."

My thoughts and sympathy go to Joe's family. But I am sure he has a five pound smallmouth on a Pop R in that big blue yonder at this very moment, and smiling as he so often was when I saw him. He truly was happy in life. Joe will be greatly missed by this fellow fisherman.
