Ashley was the age of my youngest son, and I know friends of hers here in St. Thomas. Her memorial site rests in front of my workplace, and daily I read the tribute to her as I look at her beautiful picture and into her kind and loving eyes. I think of you all, her family, daily, and I hold you in my heart. I am so unspeakably moved and I pray that your grieving is as gentle as possible.

I wish I knew you. I am getting to know you through your friends and family and from them know that you were the most amazing person, with a beautiful heart. You will be missed, but you will carry on in the hearts of many. Please give Grandma my love and tell her that I miss her so much. Thank you for being so wonderful....my love then, now and forever.
