Shilia Sawyer Obituary


Shilia P. Sawyer LAWRENCEVILLE - Shilia Phares Sawyer, 61, formerly of Virginia Beach, passed away Oct. 30, 2008. She is survived by her husband, W. Ray Sawyer; her daughter, Jennifer Beasley and husband Ricky of South Hill; two grandchildren, Cory and Kaylee Beasley; her sister, Sandra Wilson of Alabama; and brother-in-law, Larry Sawyer and wife Betty of Portsmouth. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Williams Funeral Home, Lawrenceville, with interment in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society Mecklenburg County, 4240 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060 or Grace Reformed Church, P.O. Box 273, Lawrenceville, VA 23868.
