Shirley Shannon Obituary
Shirley H. Shannon PORTSMOUTH - Shirley Hoggard Shannon, 68, passed away Nov. 1, 2008. Mrs. Shannon is survived by her children, Karen L. Spivey and husband Robert, Terry B. Shannon, Joseph E. Shannon and his wife April; two grandchildren, Joseph and Dylan; three sisters, Judy Kunkler, Rosalie Daniels and Grace Lowe; special friends of the family, Chuck Smith and Corintha Cross; and numerous other loving family members including Joseph Terry Shannon of Chesapeake. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday in Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, by Evangelist Tony Vastardis. Family suggest memorial contribution to the American Cancer Society. Condolences can be made at www.lovingfuneralhome.com.
