Maxine Lindquist Obituary


Maxine T. Lindquist CHESAPEAKE - Maxine T. Lindquist, 74, passed away peacefully in her home Nov. 10, 2008. Born April 26, 1934, in Dover, Fla., she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Melba Terry. Maxine was loved by everyone who knew her and will be greatly missed. She was predeceased by her husband, Jack D. Lindquist and a son, Raymond Lindquist. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Lewis "Preston" Turner Jr. of Chesapeake; daughter, Jacqueline Fisher of South Carolina; brother, Bill Terry and his wife Terry of Florida; six grandchildren, Kara McLlelan and husband John, Kamille Anna Fisher, Jordan Preston Turner, Jacob Lewis Turner, Faith Julia Lindquist and Christa Joy O'Donell; and two great-grandchildren, Austin Lewis Childress and Zoey Elizabeth McLlelan. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and/or AIDS Healthcare Foundation. To celebrate the life of Maxine, please visit her Everlasting Memorial at www.mem.com.
