George Poff Obituary


George L. Poff VIRGNIA BEACH - George L. Poff, 80, of the 5100 block of Lobaugh Drive, passed away Nov. 18, 2008, in Virginia Beach. A native of Cambria, Va., he was the son of the late Louis and Hattie Poff. He retired from AT&T as a supervisor after 34 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Vina H. Poff; two daughters, Lynn Woods and husband Robert and Sandra Hale and husband Chris, and a son, Steve Poff, all of Virginia Beach. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Daniel, Rachael, Lindsay, Megan and Lauren; and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends today from 5 to 7 p.m. in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel. A funeral will be conducted in the funeral home chapel Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Keith Willyard officiating. The burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Christiansburg, Va., Monday at 11 a.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
