Jean Baines Obituary
Jean B. Baines SUFFOLK - Jean Bradshaw Baines, 75, passed away Nov. 27, 2008. She was born in Suffolk, the daughter of the late Belle Dundalow and Walter Clarence Bradshaw. She was predeceased by her husband, Jasper "J.E." Ernest Baines Jr. Jean worked for 36 years as a junior accountant for Frank Sheffer and Associates. She was a lifetime member of Suffolk Christian Church and was a member of the Suffolk Pilot Club for many years. Jean is survived by her daughter, Nancy B. Copeland; son and daughter-in-law, Jay V. Baines Sr. and Jeanie B. Baines, all of Suffolk; grandchildren, Kimberly Copeland Jones and her husband Michael of Virginia Beach, Jay V. Baines Jr. of Suffolk; sister, Paige B. Poliseno of Brockton, Mass,; nieces and nephews, Karen Poliseno and Kim Poliseno Grant, Michael and Dean Poliseno; and devoted lifelong friend, Margaret Smith of Suffolk. A graveside service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Newman Cemetery at Oakland Christian Church with the Rev. Michael D. Halley officiating. Friends may join the family Sunday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, and other times at the residence. Memorial donations may be made to Suffolk Christian Church Memorial Fund at P.O. Box 1457, Suffolk, VA 23439. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.

Jean was a very nice lady and shall be missed by her fellow employees. I have know her for many years and her spouce J.E. Baines. Two very fine people. We send our sympathy to her family.
