Thomas Conley Obituary


Thomas B. Conley VIRGINIA BEACH - It is with heavy hearts and great sorrow that the family of Thomas Blake Conley announces his passing on Nov. 25, 2008, after a valiant battle with brain cancer. Tommy, age 54, of the 3300 block of Milissa St., was the owner and sole operator of Indian River Auto and Truck Repair for 22 years. Left to cherish the memory of Tommy are his best friend and wife of 30 years, Bonnie Guill Conley; their three daughters, Kelly Davis and husband Travis, Kristy Conley and Lesley Conley; a granddaughter, Madison Hope Conley; a stepson, Jeff Duplain and wife Sara; and two stepgrandchildren, Kaylah and Andrew Duplain. Tommy is also survived by his mother, Maudine Conley of Kathleen, Ga.; two sisters, LaDonne O'Connor of Aiken, S.C., and Sherry Wilson of High Point, N.C.; and faithful friend Rick Mazzola of Chesapeake. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 6, at 1 p.m. conducted by the Rev. Allen B. Hopkins at Carrow Baptist Church, located at 5545 Susquehanna Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23462. In lieu of flowers, the family is suggesting donations be made in honor of Tommy to the National Brain Tumor Society at www.braintumor.org.
