Nettie Briggs Obituary
Nettie M. Briggs PORTSMOUTH - Nettie M. Briggs died Dec. 9, 2008, in Sentara Nursing Center of Portsmouth. She leaves to mourn her loving and devoted family of Baltimore, Brenda Revell-Lewis, husband (Gralen), Sha'Nika and Jaron Lewis, Marshae' Bazemore and Shamar Houston; family of Portsmouth: George, James, Shederick and Cynthia Revell and Rose Lee Bullock, devoted friend, Ruby Greer and her Emanuel AME family, a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Emanuel AME Church, 637 North St., Portsmouth. Public viewing will be held in Corprew Funeral Home today from 2 to 8 p.m. The body will be taken to the church at 1 p.m. The family will assemble at 3881 Peachtree Lane West, Portsmouth, at 1 p.m. for the procession to the church.
