I have lived next door to the Weatherfords for 25 years so far. Mr. & Mrs. Weatherford have always looked out for me, kept an eye on my home, loved my fur-babies – Colt, Mr. Ed and Miss Moxie - to name a few. Mr. Weatherford and his son, John, purchased and installed all my replacement windows on my house; assisted me on numerous occasions with my Jeep, bicycle, etc. Mr. Weatherford was willing to help anyone. He enjoyed the very simple things in life - family, friends, church, nature, animals, birds, squirrels, raccoons, baseball games, watching TV - especially football and other sports, Cops, the History Channel, comedy shows, and the nature channel. He also enjoyed woodworking and making belts and other things from leather. He and Mrs. Weatherford drove separate cars to church so he could arrive extra early to make the coffee and put out the Danish, muffins, etc. before members of his Sunday school class arrived. He was a very special man and I miss him.

Brenda & Linda, it has been many years since we last saw each other at Willard but you have always remained friends within me. Now, as you celebrate the life of your dad, know that I am praying for you and all of your family. Please, smile and laugh through the tears as you remember the good times with your dad.
Blessings,
Lynette "Petey" Ellis
