Dorothy Clemons Obituary

Dorothy M. Clemons NORFOLK - Dorothy M. "Sis Lawrence" Clemons, 80, of the 1200 block of W. 38th St., passed away Feb. 14, 2009, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Lymas Clemons Sr. and a son, Lymas Clemons Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory, four daughters, Dorothy Bynum Clemons, Joanne Onuoha, Marilyn Clemons and Rosa Williams; four sons, Herbert Lawrence, Marvin Clemons, Carlton Clemons and Anthony Clemons; and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in New Macedonia Christian UCC, 1426 Marshall Ave., Norfolk. Interment will be at Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Family and friends will assemble at 728 Stanwix Square (Stoney Point), Norfolk one hour prior to service for procession to the church. Metropolitan Funeral Service, Granby St. Chapel, is in charge.
