Please accept my deepest and most heartfelt condolences. I learned much from Mike, serving together in USS Wasp. His confident and cheerful demeanor added much to the Chiefs' Mess, and his professionalism served as an example for all those who knew him. God bless Mike, and be with his family and friends.

I was deeply saddend to hear of the loss of Mike Sheeley. He was my first chief I ever had in the Navy. He was one of my best mentors I have had in my career. The sign of a great person is what he left behind, and for me it was alot of my leadership traits I use today for the navy.

My condolences are with you and your family. Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow. So sorry to hear that Michael has passed. I first met him when the Portsmouth Radio Club was invited to bring the communications trailer to the church for the disaster preparedness presentation. It is always sad to see one of our radio friends have passed and the loss of knowledge from the fraternity. I know he will be missed by everyone.

Dear Catherine Matthew and the rest of the Sheeley family. I came back from leave and found out that Michael had passed away. The last time that I saw him was Tuesday after I talked with Matthew about the Navy. He was a dear man and I can tell from all of you a wonderful husband and father. I distinctly enjoyed my visits with him and hoped that he would do well and get what he needed. I am sorry for your loss but know that he is with the Lord. Please know that all of you will remain in my prayers.
Peace and Blessings,
Fr Steve Dundas, LCDR CHC USN
