John Brown Obituary

John W. Brown VIRGINIA BEACH - John W. "P. John" Brown, 87, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital. He was born in Princess Anne County and was a lifelong resident in the Pungo area of Virginia Beach. He was co-owner of Bradshaw & Brown Motor Company located at the Princess Anne Courthouse for more than 50 years. He was the son of James and Marian Brown; brother to Mildred Schafer, Ernest Brown and the late Mary Alcox and Granville "Cully" Brown. He is survived by his wife, Winifred Brown; his two children, Mike Brown and wife Darlene and Susan Shell-Winters and husband Rob; two grandchildren, Chad and Troy Shell; and one great-grandchild, Austin Shell. The family will receive friends Friday, June 19, one hour prior to the funeral service at 11 a.m. in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel. Burial will follow in Nimmo United Methodist Church Cemetery. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.

I am not sure if you will remember me since we have not seen or talked with each other for over 30 years but I heard about the passing of your father and wanted to let you know how sorry i am for your lost.
