Stella Branch Obituary

Stella S. Branch NORFOLK - Stella Virginia Stallings Branch, 89, went to be with the Lord June 20, 2009. A native of Princess Anne County, she was the daughter of the late Talman L. and Lula Godfrey Berry. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Luther Alton Stalling Sr.; a son, Luther Alton "Mate" Stallings Jr.; and her second husband, Wilton Grover Branch. A member of First Baptist Church of Norfolk, she was retired from the Department of Navy Exchanges. Surviving are a daughter, Patricia A. Stallings of Norfolk; a granddaughter, Robin Vanatta and her husband Mark of Danville, Pa.; and three great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Lacie and Tony. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Sentara Leigh Memorial Hospital for the tender care and comfort rendered to Mrs. Branch. Services and interment will be private. Graham Funeral Home, Greenbrier Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. Please share a memory with the family at www.grahamfuneralhome.com.
