Shirley Crum Obituary

Shirley E. Crum FRANKLIN - Shirley Ann Edwards Crum, 81, went to be with the Lord June 21, 2009. She was born in Southampton County, a daughter of the late Bessie Gray and Livious Edwards, and was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Roscoe "Rocky" Crum Sr., one sister, and two brothers. Mrs. Crum was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Christie McClintock; three sons, Rock Jr., Raymond, and Wesley Crum; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Roger Crump officiating. Interment will follow in Poplar Spring Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. www.wrightfuneralhome.org.
