Ardessa Adeline Mitchell

Ardessa Adeline Mitchell CHESAPEAKE - On Aug. 8, 2009, our beloved Ardessa Adeline Mitchell passed away. Ardessa was born in Norfolk County to the late Tom Mitchell and Jerma Harper Mitchell. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church where she served as a missionary and was a member of the Senior Choir. She was also a member of the Floral Club and Golden Age Senior Group. Leaving to cherish her precious memory are three sisters, Emma Nixon, Mattie Nichols and Lula Mitchell; two brothers, James Mitchell and Thomas Mitchell Sr. (Ethel); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends; and her extended family: Livermans, Nixs, and Curlings. A funeral will be held Saturday, Aug. 15, at 11 a.m. in Bethel Baptist Church, 3841 Bunch Walnuts Road, Chesapeake. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park.
