Alvin was such a great man, and as April mentioned a kidder too!:o) The times I spent with him were always good times! He had so many great stories to share, and I didn't mind listening to them even if it wasn't the first time he had told it to me. He use to wake up and tell me about just getting back from flying with his Grandma, and how they would race eachother. I bet that is one of the first things he wanted to do when he got to Heaven :)
I would like the family to know that I Thank you for allowing me to get to know Alvin, he will truly be missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Alvin and I spent the last 19 1/2 months together, 6 days a week. He was like my grandfather, a storyteller, an influence, but mostly he was my friend. He always took the time to ask how I was, or what was bothering me, and not only that, but he could always figure it out even when I didn't say. We had many, many fun times together and he laughed and smiled a lot! He sure was a kidder!! My children also cared for him a lot and I would truly like to thank the Callis, Brown and Bourne family for allowing me time with their father, grandfather, great-grandfather. I will never forget him.

Jo Lynn and family,
Although we didn't know your Dad, we do know that this will be a difficult time for you all. May God bless each of you and keep you in care in the days ahead. With sincere sympathy,
