Words cannot express the disbelief, shock and sorrow I experienced when told of Scoop's tragic death. He was an all around good guy to my family and I learned some things about fatherhood from watching his patient demeanor and the way he interacted with his sons (and mine). My heart goes out to Melissa, Kayla, Brandon, Javin and all of Scoop's family. You will be missed, rest in peace.

Scoop,
It was with great shock and sorrow that I heard news of your death on TV. We worked together and alongside each other for years. I will miss you. To your family who are also in shock at the suddenness of your passing; all I can say is you have my deepest sympathies. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. As the days and weeks pass, and as you all return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Fair winds and following seas my friend.

Blessings,
