Dear Debi,Gayle and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Delsie's passing. We were out of town over the weekend and heard about it through a friend. I'm also sorry I couldn't be at the funeral for such a special person in my life.
I shared several Delsie stories with friends and family on Sunday and many more stories and memories come to mind.
With a heavy heart, I send you love and wish you peace.

Dear Debi and Gayle,
I was so sad to hear of Aunt Delsie's illness and passing. I know what a difficult time it must have been for you. I'm sorry that none of my family could make it to the funeral today.
I remember so many dinners at Grandma Ellis where she made the extra effort to be there when it would have been so easy for her to have taken that day off and relaxed at home. Several times I was surprised with a birthday card or just a card of encouragement if she heard that things were not going well.
She was so grounded in her beliefs and I know that while dealing with her loss is painful, the hope that she lived everyday gives you comfort.

Dear Debi and family,
So sorry for your loss, and wish I could say something that would help. Just know that I'm praying for God's comfort for you all, and that your devotion in these last tough weeks touched me and says much about what a lovely woman she must have been.
