Marvin Dillard Obituary

Marvin L. Dillard VIRGINIA BEACH - Marvin L. Dillard, 61, went to be with the Lord on Sept. 26, 2009. He was born to Jessie A. Dillard Sr. and Mildred Whitaker Dillard in Princess Anne County, Virginia. He was predeceased by his wife, Mildred Cuffee Dillard; a brother, Jessie Dillard Jr.; and his grandmother, Melissa Eure. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He is survived by his mother, Mildred Dillard; brothers, Daniel, James and Ronald; sisters, Evelyn, Wadjet (Ellen), Frances, Lillian, Brenda, Faye, and Chris; and a host of relatives and friends. He will be greatly missed. The service will be Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009 at 1 p.m. in Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the service begins. Condolences may be made to the family at www.altmeyer.com.
