Richard Miller Obituary

Richard J. Miller FRISCO - Richard J. "Dickie" Miller, 52, passed away at his residence, Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009. Born in California, he was the son of the late Barbara Ruth Coates and Richard George Miller. He leaves his wife, Suzy Miller of the residence. Dickie will be remembered for his love of four- wheeling and beach fishing. He will also be remembered for his fondness of his grandson, Dawson P. Williams and his daughter, Doris S. Bailey, both of Avon, N.C. Also surviving are his brothers, Joey Miller, Jimmy Miller and Larry Miller, all of Virginia Beach and Bobby Miller of New Jersey. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Sue Roberts and husband George Roberts; his mother-in-law, Janet Hughes; and his father-in-law, Craig Hughes of Boston. A service of remembrance will be held at Little Grove United Methodist Church in Frisco, N.C., at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, with the Rev. Cory Oliver officiating and the Rev. Dwight Burrus assisting. In addition to flowers, memorial donations can be made to Dare Home Health and Hospice, P.O. Box 1000, Manteo, NC 27954 or the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 442, Hatteras, NC 27943. Twiford Funeral Homes, Island Chapel, Hatteras, N.C., is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.twiford.com.

SUZY,CUZ.. DICKY WILL BE GREATLY MISSED . WE ALWAYS MESSED WITH EACH OTHER ON THE TO WORK EACH MORNING.
HE ALWAYS BEING TO CALM AND SLOW PACED DRIVER AND ME ON THE OTHER HAND A SPEED DEMON. I WILL MISS HIM.
