JD will be very seriously missed. As one of the others that knew him through Thimble Shoals and becamse his friend 10 years ago, I was shocked to learn of his passing. He attended my wedding less than a month before his death and I am grateful that I had that last opportunity to talk and joke with him.

J.D. will surely be missed by all those who had the pleasure to meet and chat with him. He may have been a private person, but he had a big personality and warm heart.
He frequented THIMBLE SHOALS-NOB since the 70's and had many stories to tell. There are many people that stop in to say hi to J.D. when they are in the area.
J.D.'s seat at the corner of the bar will ALWAYS have his name on it as ....HIS NAME WILL ALWAYS STAY IN THE HEARTS OF THOSE WHO HAD THE PLEASURE TO KNOW HIM.
GOD BLESS YOU J.D. REST IN PEACE.
