Nancy Clifford Obituary

Nancy JoAnn Clifford VIRGINIA BEACH - Nancy JoAnn Clifford, born Nancy JoAnn Ellingson, passed away peacefully Dec. 6, 2009. She was born Jan. 20, 1947 in Benson, Minn. She was a devoted mother to three daughters, Angela Keaveny of Chicago, and Cindy Dull and Bonita Dupre of Virginia Beach. Also left to cherish her memory are two sons-in-law, Billy and Christopher and three granddaughters, Keaveny, Sophie, and Rowan. She is also survived by a host of sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She enjoyed cooking, crossword puzzles, writing poems, telling jokes, and making people laugh. She always had a way of making people feel special. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed. A funeral celebrating her life will be held Saturday, Dec. 12, at 1 p.m. at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Virginia Beach. Flowers are welcome and memorial donations can be made to the charity of your choice. Condolences may be made to the family at hdoliver.com.

I will forever hold Nana dear in my heart. I'm so happy to have been able to spend time with her. She was beautiful inside and out. My love goes out to her beautiful daughters, grand-daughters, sons-in-law, and the rest of the extended family.
