Nancy Clifford

Nancy JoAnn Clifford VIRGINIA BEACH - Nancy JoAnn Clifford, born Nancy JoAnn Ellingson, passed away peacefully Dec. 6, 2009. She was born Jan. 20, 1947 in Benson, Minn. She was a devoted mother to three daughters, Angela Keaveny of Chicago, and Cindy Dull and Bonita Dupre of Virginia Beach. Also left to cherish her memory are two sons-in-law, Billy and Christopher and three granddaughters, Keaveny, Sophie, and Rowan. She is also survived by a host of sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She enjoyed cooking, crossword puzzles, writing poems, telling jokes, and making people laugh. She always had a way of making people feel special. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed. A funeral celebrating her life will be held Saturday, Dec. 12, at 1 p.m. at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Virginia Beach.
