My condolences to the Clark and Taft families. Roxi and Dan I have many found memories of spending time at Coxton Lake with your mom and dad. Peg always had a puzzle out in some state of assembly and I enjoyed many hours with her on rainy afternoons at the lake working on them. And then there where the stories of times past, the fascinating tales of her life and times, and of course her great meals. It's been many years since we crossed paths but I'll always remember those good memories. May Peace be With You

I am so sorry that "Mrs. Clark" has passed away. I remember her well from growing up down the street from her.
She would always take care of me when I was home sick from school. We didn't have much money or many clothes, and Mrs. Clark always made sure to send hand-me-downs to our house for me. She would sneak small change to me when Mom wasn't looking so I could run down to Ernie's and get penny candy.
I remember being at the lake as a small child, swimming and canoeing at her cottage.
I am glad I was able to spend time with her once more a couple summers ago when she camped at Bowman Lake.
I will always remember her as a kind, loving, and gracious lady who was always concerned about my well-being.

It was with great sadness that I read about Margaret Peterson's passing. "Mrs. Clark" was a wonderful person in my young life. She always had time for us-her daughter Roxie, Natalie Escoff, Debbie Herman, and me-our plays, our music or any new scheme we came up with.
When we picked wild strawberries she would make the short cake and the whipped cream. She always laughed and made us happy. She created a job for my mom when we hardly had any money to live on. I will always remember her as a generous, loving person and I am glad I was able to see her off and on through the rest of her life up to a couple of years ago. I will always love her!!
