Bruce A. Eddy

Bruce A. Eddy, 85, of 333 S. Webber Dr., Chittenango, N.Y., passed away Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse. Born in Endicott, Mr. Eddy was a longtime resident of Endicott, moving to Chittenango 5 years ago. He was employed as a model maker at IBM in Endicott for 35 years, retiring in 1979. Mr. Eddy was a U.S. Army veteran, serving as a pilot during WWII and he was a former POW. He was predeceased by his wife, Beatrice in 2002. Surviving are a daughter, LeAnne (Douglas) Banke, Chittenango; a son, Joseph (Donna) Eddy, Florida; a brother, Roger Eddy, Newark Valley; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be 2-4 p.m., Saturday at the G.F. Zimmer Funeral Home, 702 Legion Drive, Chittenango, and 11 a.m.-12 noon, Monday at the chapel at Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Vestal. Burial will be private. G.F. ZIMMER F.H.
