Mrs. Mastroe, what a great lady. She let us grow up enjoying life, making sure we were safe, even when we think she wasn't paying attention. Peace to her and all the family.

Mary Lou Mastroe will always be "Mrs. Mastroe" to me. She was my best friend's mom...Mrs. Mastroe.
As a young kid I always felt welcomed in Mrs. Mastroe's home. It felt like a second home to me.
Over the past few days I have discovered how involved Mrs. Mastroe was with the church, local schools, and much more. The fact that she was so involved within the community makes it even more amazing that she did all this, and still remained simply Mrs. Mastroe, by best friend's mom.

To the family,
So sorry for your loss. Mrs. Mastroe was like a Grandmother to me, my little sister and I would go visit her with my Grandmother (Marie Porterfield) We always had such a good time, and I'll alway's remember her, just like my Grandma. My condolences to your family.

Mrs. Mastroe- she was my favorite babysitter. I can remember her making me lunch after returning from kindergarten and doing crosswords with my sister and I. She taught me valuable lessons about life, like a grandmother would do. Her children are truly lucky to have such a precious, kindhearted and sweet mother. My family and I extend our deepest condolences.

To Mary Lou’s family,
I’m very sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. Mary Lou was a very kind and gentle lady who loved my dog Morgan. When I would shop for her I would try to take the dog with me as she really enjoyed when the dog would visit. I don’t know who enjoyed whose company more, Mary Lou or Morgan. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayer’s.
