Kevin was always my Guardian Angel. He always knew the right thing to say, at the right time. Kevin watched out for me, when he knew I felt so alone in it all.
I recall so many of our phone conversations. I would answer the phone, "Hey you!". His response always, 'how did you know?' We just always knew.
We both know, 'Yeah, it's you...omg I know, too much perfume...the movie?' Haha he knows. We both know.
These last 15 years, what I wouldn't of done for that call. I can see his smile that lit up the room and made everything bearable. I know, somehow, he is watching over me. Our friendship was/is absolutely unheard of and priceless. I always carry Kevin in my heart, since we were 12-13 years old.
BTW, he totally broke the ceiling light in the camper :)
These last few years, I think about the last time our paths crossed. I know now, he made that happen. His words forever have stay in my heart as he met my youngest daughter, "Take care of your Mom for me."
Yet, I know, he still has my back. Kevin changed the world...I/We are so blessed

I grew up with Kevin and had not seen him in over 20 years. I ran into him within the past year and we talked for a long time, he was so outgoing and full of life. I'm not sure if he was ill at that time, if he was he never told me. He actually came up to me and said, "I remember you!" I am so glad I had that brief time to talk to him again and laugh. God bless you Kevin, you have touched many people in a positive way..!

To the Pembridge family, there are no answers to why someone so young is taken from this life in this manner. We do know that God is Sovreign and loving and that He understands our deepest hurts and that He ministers by His Spirit to comfort and console us.I saw Kevin in his last months when he came to visit at First Assembly church. I will always remember his infectious smile and wonderful personality. Because of our age difference I knew his family more closely than him, but still will miss seeing him at First Assembly. But we have this promise, that those of us who have accepted Christ as Lord and Saviour will all meet one day in that land where there is no more or suffering. Rest assured that day is coming soon. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Kevin was a terrific person and a great neighbor. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Rather than to grieve for our loss, we must instead thank God for ending Kevin's pain and suffering.

He was a likeable 7-8 year old with a bright sparkle in his eye, sitting in my second grade class at Charles F Johnson School, when I first met Kevin. After elementary school I never saw him again until two summers ago when our paths crossed again. We were both at an aid station/church set up in Endwell for flood victims of the 2006 June flood. Kevin was introduced as a relief worker; I was a volunteer in the audience. When I heard his name, I wondered if he could be my second grade student, Kevin. Indeed he was and we had a brief, but pleasant reunion. Here was the 8 year old boy I remembered, now a man - outgoing, charismatic and with the same bright sparkle in his eye. I will never forget Kevin. As with all my students, he left an impact on my heart. I was so saddened to here of his passing. May God hold Kevin's family in His arms and give them comfort. Kevin, I only knew you since February but from that first time I talked to you on the phone I knew how special you were. I am very saddened by losing you but at the same time I am happy for you knowing you are in Heaven now and no longer in pain! Our short time together felt like a lifetime and I can't wait for the day to come when we meet again! You always told me, "Boy you sure make life interesting!" No one made my life more interesting than you! Don't worry... We will watch over Kaylyn and Kevin!

Although I only met Kevin a few short months ago I feel compelled to express my deepest sympathy.
Kaylin, I want you know that I found you to be a remarkable young lady and I truly wish you the best. I am proud of you for opening the door to your father's illness and standing by him during his treatments.
Mr. Tredo, I also want to acknowledge you because of the selfless things you did for Kevin throughout his illness. You are an awesome individual and I was in awe because of your selflessness.
My prayers are with all of Kevin's family and friends.
Sincerely,
Mary E. Lescault

Kevin,
You will be truly missed by all who knew you. I remember when I first met you and all the crazy plans you and Paul use to have. Since that time your life and mine had changed dramatically but you were still there for me with a quick, hearty smile and many words of wisdom. I can not even express what a positive impact you made upon my life and how saddened I am by your passing. But I do know that Heaven now has a new angel and I WILL see you again. Until that time, my friend, rest in peace!! May God Bless all your family and friends, especially your children, Kaylyn and Kevin.

To the Pembridge family,
My deepest sympathy for your loss.
Kevin was my oldest friend! Since the days on Church street, Round Top, through our wild and and then on to our more 'mature' years, I always accepted that Kevin, so strong and vibrant, would be around forever. Although our last meeting was not the best and something I deeply regret that ever happened, I will miss him greatly.
I was so proud of Kevin, that he made a 300% commitment to his children and that they grew up so well and knew and loved their father, something that you do not often see in our generation.
Kevin, you made a positive difference in many lives. Goodbye my friend.

Mrs. Pembridge ,Terri and Donny. I am so sorry for the loss of Kevin, I just heard recently about Kevins health and it sounds that all the suffering and pain he has been through that he can finally rest in peace. Though I haven't seen Kevin in years, I can remember the good ole days of our families, and all the bowling days you and my mom had, especially Wednesday afternoons and when I was able to join that league. Again my deepest sympathy.
