Esther Page Starr
of Stamford, Conn.
Esther Page Starr passed away August 3, 2008 surrounded by her loving family. Esther was born in Columbus, Ohio on April 5, 1926. She was a resident of Stamford for over 40 years. She is survived by her daughters, Susan Starr (Danny Pratt), Binghamton, N.Y., and Rachel Starr Radin (Alan Radin), Orange, Conn.; grandchildren, Morgan and Miles Radin; and her beloved feline companion, Smokey. She also leaves behind a sister, Mary (James) Day; and brother, Walter (Eva) Page, both of Columbus, Ohio. Esther was predeceased by her son, Richard Starr, Jr.; and her brother, Thomas Page. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Stamford Hospital and Yale New Haven Hospital, especially Dr. Zucker, for the quality care she received.
Services will be held at the Church of Christ the Healer, 20 Brooksdale Rd., Stamford, Conn. (at the corner of High Ridge Rd.) on Thursday, August 7th at 11:00 a.m. Friends and family may call on Thursday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Radin Home, 378 Longmeadow Rd. in Orange. In lieu of flowers, those who so desire may make contributions to the charity of their choosing.
