Anne Marie Klish
of Johnson City
Anne Marie Klish, 90, of Johnson City, N.Y. (born in Olyphant, Pa.), passed away on Monday, September 29, 2008. She is survived by her loving husband of 69 1/2 years, Milton Klish; two sons and daughters-in-law, Myron and Geraldine Klish, Endwell, N.Y., Dr. John and Susan Klish, Middletown, Md.; five grandchildren, Kathryn Klein, Maryellen (John) Seeley, Thomas Klish, Karen (Scott) Griffin, and Andrew Klish; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marie Kariam, Johnson City and Nellie Henzes, Peckville, Pa.; two sisters-in-law, Stephie Frailey, Binghamton and Jennie Polansky, Bradenton, Fla. Anne was a member of Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Church, Johnson City and an active member of the Ladies Guild. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Anne retired from the A&P Company where she was employed as a bookkeeper. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Lourdes Hospice for their wonderful care and comfort.
Funeral services will be held at the J.F. Rice Funeral Home, Inc., 150 Main St., Johnson City, Friday at 9:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Church where a Divine Liturgy will be celebrated by Rev. Teodor Czabala. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday afternoon from 4-6 p.m. There will be a Parastas (Prayer Service) at the funeral home, Thursday at 5:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make memorial contributions to the Building Fund of Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Church, 230 Ukrainian Hill Rd., Johnson City, N.Y. 13790 in Anne Marie Klish's memory.
