Mary A. (Presto) Falank
of Binghamton
Mary A. (Presto) Falank, 86, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2008, at Binghamton General Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents, Salvatore and Domenica Presto; her brother, Anthony Presto; and her husband, James Falank. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Sam and Kate Falank, Windsor, Jim and Patty Falank, Binghamton, Jerry and Gretta Falank, Endicott; grandchildren, Frank, Joseph, Matthew, Alex, Dylan and Lesha Falank; also her brother, Frank Presto, Hillcrest; many nieces and nephews; and her faithful dog, Rocky. She was a retired employee of the Binghamton YMCA and a lifelong member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church. Mary enjoyed visiting with her friends and working at St. Mary's Bazaar selling "Lupini."
Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, October 3, 2008, at 8:45 a.m. at the James V. DeMarco & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson, and continue at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco & Son Funeral Home on Thursday from 4 - 7 p.m. Please consider memorial contributions in Mary's name to St Mary's Refurbishing Fund, 37 Fayette St., Binghamton, N.Y. 13901.
