Vaughn Scott Obituary
of Deposit
Vaughn Lee "Buzzy" Scott, 42, of Deposit, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 10, 2008. He was born on December 8, 1965 in Sidney, N.Y. He was predeceased by his father, Vaughn "Robbie" Scott; a sister, Darlene Scott; uncle, Jimmy Scott; grandmother, Janet Scott; and grandparents, Kathryn and Paul Winans. He is survived by three loving sons, Robert, Patrick and Thomas Scott, Johnson City; his mother and stepfather, Gloria and James Lee, Afton; grandfather, Donald Scott, Afton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Don and Tammie Scott, Afton, Paul and Megan Lee, Afton, Jimmy and Jasmine Lee, Houston, Tex.; a sister, Vanessa Lee, Elmira; his special stepchildren, Diana Garcia, Hancock, Paul and Richard Garcia, Deposit; also several aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins and friends. Buzzy's profession of many years was body work and painting vehicles. He found much joy in playing guitar with his buddies. His "free spirit" allowed him to live life as it was and to not worry about tomorrow. He will be sadly missed.
The family will receive friends at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home, 69-71 Maple Street, Harpursville, on Wednesday from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Afton at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the Afton Emergency Squad, PO Box 343, Afton, N.Y. 13730. You were gone

Buzz was one of the best, he would do anything for a friend. We'll miss his big smile and great sense of humor. Will never forget the times playing guitars and making music. To the Family of Buzzy,
Boy I am afraid to read the paper down here in Florida, knowing that we just lost another friend. Buzzy came down with Spike Russell for vacation and we had a ball. When I came to N.Y. he treated me with the most respect and I will never forget that. He was also a great friend to my son and where you found one you usually found the other. Please except my sympathy to your family and may Buzzy rest in peace.

Buzzy has been currently helping my Daughter paint her new apartment in Binghamton. He was always willing to help anyone. He recently repaired my car, a job that no one else could have performed better
