Max Welch Obituary
Max Frederick Welch, Sr.
formerly of
Great Bend, Pa.
Max Frederick Welch, Sr., 73, formerly of Great Bend, Pa., passed away Sunday, October 12, 2008, at Barnes-Kasson Hospital. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Pearl E. Welch on December 8, 2008 and was the son of the late Max Woodrow and Gladys Felton Welch. He is survived by his son, Max Fred and Joanne Welch Jr., Harpursville, N.Y.; a stepson, Raymond and Beatrice Henaghan, Binghamton, N.Y.; a stepdaughter, Rose Sherwood, Apalachin, N.Y.; one brother, Richard and Judy Welch, Hallstead, Pa.; one sister, Anita Dribnack, Great Bend, Pa.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Lena Turboss. Fred was employed for Joe's Disposal Service for many years.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 16, 2008, at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Hallstead, Pa. Interment will be made in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 7-9 p.m. Should friends so desire, expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation to Barnes-Kasson Skilled Nursing Facility Memorial Fund, 400 Turnpike Street, Susquehanna, Pa. 18847.

Welch family,
We are so sorry for your loss. Although this is a sad time, now Grandpa Fred can go and be where he wants to be; with my gram.
He was a good man and took such great care of her. He will be missed.

Its hard to believe you are gone now too. I am glad that you are with grandma now and Im sure my dad will have much to say to you up there. You were the only grandpa I ever knew and I loved you dearly and you will be missed so much. Much love to the family, Im sorry for your loss.
