Mary Saunders Obituary
formerly of Kirkwood
Mary Saunders, 90, of Chiefland, Florida, went to be with our Lord on October 16, 2008. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Saunders; her daughters, Carol Ann Saunders and Patricia Kircher; and her brother, Joseph Kovarik. She is survived by her daughter, Jeanette (Russell) Praefke, Chiefland, Fla.; her son, Charles F. Saunders; son-in-law, Joseph Kircher; sister, Virginia (Donald) Daley, all of Kirkwood; five grandchildren, great and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at a later date.

Chuck, Jeanette and Virgie,
Aunt Mary was my family rock. She always gave a quiet, little extra gift, card or word of love to me as a child and it continued without interruption throughout my adult life with a birthday card and word of continued love. When her eyes and mind no longer recognized us, I kept our faith with my Christmas cards. I knew somewhere, somehow she would know that I never forgot. I miss her now more than ever. Our deepest sympathy and love to you all.

Dearest Chuckie, Jeanette & Virg,
Mary was the most outstanding, giving person I ever met. The happiness and friendship she gave to Joe, Jimmy and me will be remembered always. Recalling the traumas in her life, I know there is a special place for her in Heaven. My deepest sympathy to the three of you!
