Rose was an outstanding wife and mother who loved and enjoyed her family with all of her heart. She was born in 1937 in Sayre, Pa., and in 1955 was Miss Sayre, Pa. Rose was employed at Ingersoll Rand, Athens, Pa., Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, Pa., and General Electric/Lockheed Martin of Westover, N.Y. in 1965 retiring from there in 1997. She was an avid poker player and Blackjack enthusiast who enjoyed traveling cross country, including many trips to the casinos. Rose also spent a great deal of time with her husband bow hunting and enjoying the outdoors. She often played many board games with her family in front of their wood burning stove. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Broome Oncology, UHS and Lourdes Hospice. A special thank you goes to Dr. Edwardo Meirelles, Central Washington, Neuro Science Clinic, Yakima, Wash., for the care and advice given during her illness.

To the Family,
She was a special friend to me when I lived in Conklin and worked at GE. We went to Flea markets together and went to the donut shop so she could get a cigarette. It drove me nuts that she didn't gain weight and I did. She could eat what she wanted. She is now resting in peace and waiting for her family to join her some day. Love to you all and my prayers are with you.
