Bertha O. Wolpert
formerly of Bainbridge
Bertha O. Wolpert, 96, formerly of Bainbridge, N.Y., died at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Friday, November 9, 2007. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Wolpert in 1967. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Lois and George Zemaitis, Oxford, Conn.; a son and daughter-in-law, Paul and MaryAnn Wolpert, Endicott; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren. She was a retired supervisor with Great American Insurance Company. Bertha moved from Ridgewood, N.Y. to Bainbridge 35 years ago.
Funeral and Interment Services will be held Sunday, 3 p.m. from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with the Reverend Larry Hendricks, Pastor of Grace Lutheran Church, Vestal, officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Queens, N.Y. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, Sunday from 1 p.m. until service time at 3 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Southern Tier Regional Office, 401 Hayes Avenue, Endicott, N.Y. 13760.
