Mary R. (Youngblood) Brown
of Apalachin
Mary R. (Youngblood) Brown, 85, of Apalachin, died Thursday morning, November 22, 2007, at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pa. Born December 29, 1921 in Kingston, Pa., she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Kielty) Youngblood. Her husband of 54 years, Frederick J. Brown, Sr., died in 2002. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Frederick J., Jr. and Janet H. Brown, Apalachin; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lou and James Van Kuren, Montrose, Pa.; and daughter, Beverly Brown, Apalachin; grandchildren, Frederick J., III (FJ) and Amanda T. Brown, Robert, William, Kenith and Catherine Knapp; brother, Richard and Winnie Youngblood, Sugar Notch, Pa.; sister-in-law, Catherine and Dominic Bencivenga, Florida; sister-in-law, Teresa Brown, Shavertown, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, Paul, William, Thomas, and James Youngblood; son-in-law, Keith Knapp; and brother-in-law, Eugene Brown.
The funeral service will be held at 11:15 a.m., Monday, November 26, at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Rt. 434 in Apalachin, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 Noon at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Little Meadows, Pa. Interment will be in St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery in Little Meadows. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 25.

To all of you I send my condolences. I am saddened to her of the passing of Mary. I am glad I got to see her Aug 29 while I was in Apalachin NY. Treasure all your memories..I know I will. So sorry for this time you are having to go through.
