Ann L. Middleton
of Nichols
Surrounded by her loving family, Ann L. Middleton, 61, of Briggs Hill Rd., passed away Friday, November 30, 2007. Ann was predeceased by her husband, John Darryl Middleton; a daughter, Darlene Middleton; and is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Robert Cushman; son, James Middleton and fiancee, Cassandra Kittle; a brother, Charles Heslop; sisters, Jacqueline Landers, Linda Mornout, Lucy Heslop and Carol Corbett; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, C. Alton and Sheila Middleton, Amy and Fred Snyder, Donald and Catherine Middleton; her special grandchildren, Kevin, Amanda, Sarah, Matthew, Megan, Crystal, and Alicia; her great-granddaughter, Alyssa. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and their families also survive. Ann was born on September 28, 1946 in New York City, a daughter of Ernest L. and Helen (Zink) Heslop. For many years, Ann was employed in the accounting department for Tioga County Mental Health. She was a member of the Nichols United Methodist Church, Owego Moose, Owego American Legion and the Owego VFW. Ann enjoyed reading, computer gaming, although her greatest enjoyment was having her family nearby.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service and celebration of Ann's life on Monday, December 3, 2007, at 7 p.m. at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols. A period of visitation and sharing memories will be held on Monday from 6 p.m. until the time of the service at 7 p.m. Memories and condolences may also be shared with the family by visiting our website www.sutfinfuneralchapel.com. Those who wish may kindly consider a memorial contribution to Lourdes Hospice, 169 Riverside Dr., Binghamton, N.Y. 13905, in loving memory of Ann L. Middleton.
