Cecile Amadio Obituary

AMADIO, CECILE C. (CADORET), 68, of Ashley St., Cranston, passed away Monday, August 4, 2008 at RI Hospital in Providence. She was the beloved wife for 45 years of Daniel C. Amadio.

Born in Lincoln, she was the daughter of the late Del and Cecile (Martin) Cadoret.

Cecile was a secretary at Providence Braid Co. in Pawtucket for 40 years retiring in 2007. She was a graduate and Class Valedictorian of St. Anne's Academy in Marlboro, MA.

Besides her husband, she was the devoted mother of Janice Buono of Exeter and Daniel Amadio and James Amadio, both of Cranston; loving grandmother of seven and the late Anna Buono; and dear sister of Norman Cadoret of Warwick, Gerard Cadoret of CA, Richard Cadoret of Harrisville, Theresa Fortier of Attleboro, MA, Helena Marcotte of Smithfield, Pauline Deshaies of Central Falls, and the late Del and Raymond Cadoret and Claire Russell.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston.

Cecile requested that visiting hours are respectfully omitted.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: NTAF, c/o The Steven Amadio Kidney Transplant Fund, 150 N. Radnor Chester Rd. Suite F-120, Radnor, PA 19087.

I was saddened and surprised to hear of Cecile's passing. We enjoyed our trip to Florida at the end of April.
I also noticed the picture of her on the lanai with the palm trees in the background was used in her obit. She will be missed. May her family take comfort in God's loving presence.

I'm so glad that Cecile was able to enjoy our 50th class reunion in June. It was probably one of her last joys and she seemed happy to see everyone.
